UW–Madison uses a multi-stream waste and recycling program, which means we are all responsible for sorting trash and recyclable items into the correct bins.
Trash and Recycling Tags
Use these cutout tags for items that do not fit into the standard trash or recycling bins. Make sure these items are clearly labeled with these tags— custodial staff will not collect items outside of bins without tags attached.
