Committee on Academic Staff Issues (CASI)
CASI advises the Dean on the formulation and review, and assists in the development of all policies and procedures concerning academic staff members of the school, including personnel matters.
Coordinating Council for Professionals in Education (CCPE)
The CCPE promotes innovation and excellence in the preparation of education professionals for the units and programs of UW–Madison and its collaborating institutions.
IRB
The Education Research and Social & Behavioral Science Institutional Review Boards Office reviews all human research protocols in accordance with regulations, laws, and policies.
Information Technology Policy Advisory Committee (ITPAC)
ITPAC helps determine School of Education IT core services, collaboratively develops an actionable vision of future School of Education IT services, and debates and ultimately promotes IT policy decisions to departments and units.
Virginia Horne Henry Committee
The goal of this committee is to help the School of Education develop a margin of excellence in women’s physical education by creating a campus resource dedicated to the pursuit of women’s lifelong learning skills in the areas of physical education.
Academic Planning Council (APC)
The APC is one of the School of Education's two major standing committees that monitor and oversee program planning and development within the School and between departments.
Doctoral Research Program (DRP) Advisory Committee
The DRP at UW–Madison offers a cross-disciplinary program of professional enrichment designed for School of Education graduate students, who intend to pursue careers as researchers in education and education-related fields.
Equity and Diversity Committee
The Equity and Diversity Committee advises the Dean on the climate within the School in relationship to issues of equity and diversity, with diversity defined in a broad and inclusive way.
Programs Committee
The School of Education faculty as a whole has delegated the responsibility for the review of all proposed new courses, new programs, and revisions of existing courses and programs to the School’s Programs Committee.
Administrative Council
The Administrative Council is a leadership and advisory committee, chaired by the Dean and composed of senior administrative staff, the heads of the School's departments and units, and representatives of the academic and university staff.
Education Graduate Research Scholars (Ed-GRS)
Ed-GRS is a community of first generation students and ethnically underrepresented students who are receiving an Advanced Opportunity Fellowship in the School of Education.
Global Education Committee
The School of Education promotes a conceptualization of education, research, and public service that spans international borders, has global reach and embraces open inquiry, innovation, and social justice.
Qualitative Research Methods Committee
The Qualitative Research Methods Committee is a group of cross-departmental faculty who design, teach, and manage the qualitative methods minor in the School of Education.
