The financial support we receive from loyal alumni and friends is essential to the continued excellence of the School of Education. Private gifts fund more than 200 scholarships each year supporting deserving undergraduates; provide the resources necessary to attract and retain the most talented faculty, students, and staff; and support new initiatives in the arts, movement sciences, and education.
From now until June 30, three generous alumni have agreed to match every gift to the School of Education Annual Fund, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000. Cindy and Roger Schaus, both class of ’77, and Kathryn Richardson, MS ’89, PhD ’99, have made this commitment because they understand the key role philanthropic support plays in the future of the School.

"UW–Madison gave me the tools I needed to live my dream, the School of Education gave me the skills to pass it on. As my career evolves, the School remains the most valuable resource in my professional and personal growth, so giving back is an easy choice."
